Mampi 'Thunder Thighs' To Perform In Namibia

Zambian R&B singer and Big Brother Africa StarGame contestant, Mampi Mukape is set to perform in Namibia for the first time.

The 25-year-old will have a show on Friday, September 28, at the old Chez Ntemba, in Windhoek.

The musician, known for her vocal strength, writing and dancing skills has been making music from a young age, she started singing solo in school at the age of six. At eight, she started writing her own songs and by the time she was 14, Mampi recorded her first album 'Maloza', which produced hits like 'Osanimenya', 'Chance', and 'Sunshya Style'. Some of her most recent popular songs include 'Why' and 'Give Him Some Love' .

She is a well established artist in her home country, and was selected as Zambian Ngoma Awards most promising female artist in 2006, and best female performer in 2007. Nicknamed 'The vibrating waist', Mampi has promised to give her Namibian fans a performance to remember.

Ticket will cost N$70 and N$150 for VIP and will be available at the door. The show will start at 21h00.
