Live Show: Cassper Nyovest Brings The Beats

Rising South African star Cassper Nyovest will drop some serious beats on this Sunday’s live Big Brother: The Chase Eviction Show, as the continent waits to see which housemates will be heading home.

The man from Montshiwa, near Mafikeng, has performed in Botswana, Ghana, Lesotho, Namibia and Mozambique and shared stages in the UK with HHP and Tuks in December 2011 to critical acclaim. He started out with “CHG” (Childhood Gangsters) in 2004, but broke away to join “Slow Motion”.

In 2008, aged just 17, Cassper was offered a record deal with “impact Sounds” alongside artists like Tuks Senganga & Morafe. He then started his own label, “Press Play Music” in 2010. Having generated substantial local buzz with Holla at a Pantsula in 2010, he was selected to contribute to HHP’s Wam tseba Mtho, leading to a nationwide tour with Jabba.

His own single, Wahala ft Young Slugz, debuted on Vuzu’s V-Entertainment and lead to HYPE magazine crowning him “the number1 unsigned Artist in South Africa”.

Don’t miss the unstoppable Casspar Nyovest on Big Brother: The Chase this Sunday - and don’t forget to vote to keep your favourite Housemate in the game!
