Resa Hails Countryman Macky2

Zambia's evicted representative in the ongoing Big Brother Africa (BBA) Hotshots edition, Resa, says she believes Macky2 is a strong contender for the ultimate US$300,000 grand prize.

The Namibian, whose full name is Theresa Liteta, shared during a press conference that her experience in the Big Brother house was short and sweet and one she would not trade for the world.

"No experience can be perfect," Resa stated. "I've had my happy moments and my sad moments but all in all I wouldn't trade it for the world."

Asked whether she thought Zambia's remaining housemate, Macky2 still stood a good chance of winning, Resa said she definitely believed he had a great chance.

According to Resa, there is a misconception that the louder housemates in BBA are the more entertaining ones.

"There is a saying that empty vessels make the most noise and just because Macky2 is quiet doesn't mean his chances of winning are slim," she explained.

Resa said she feels like the whole of Zambia is behind Macky2 and if they continued voting in the way that they are now, he could win the competition.

She also noted how Macky2 was the only contestant that had two country votes last week while all the other housemates had one country vote each.

Describing him as humble, with an amazing personality, Resa said people in the BBA house only found out that Macky2 was a huge artiste back home because she mentioned it.

"I admire his humility and unlike other Zambians who are not patriotic and didn't stand by me, I am going to stand by my fellow countryman," Resa stressed.

In the end, she says though her stay was short, the greatest thing that had happened for her was the forging of friendships.

As overwhelming as the experience was, bonding with other housemates made it a beautiful one for her.
