Desmond Elliott In The House

The housemates need their creative juices to flow, having lost their wager for Wednesday night's presentation. Big Brother is nothing but generous and giving and today he gave to the housemates in their second "Big Brother Hotshots Master Class" campaign none other  than activist and Nollywood superstar, Desmond Elliott.

This talented Nigerian helped the housemates to develop their acting skills and on a broader note, how to use their fame for positive social change. His message is "work hard," he struck a chord with the housemates and the housemates are enriched from the experience. He told them to make sure that they have a plan. He discussed the social responsibility that they have that comes along with their stardom and to use it wisely, highlighting ebola as a case in point.

As one of Nollywood's leading actors, having appeared in over two hundred films including "Men Who Cheat", "Yahoo Millionaire" and "Atlant" he is well placed to offer advice on the many facets of the art of acting. He has won numerous awards, including  best supporting actor in a drama at the 2nd Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards and was nominated for best supporting actor at the 10th Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Desmond Elliot was convinced to get into acting by a friend and worked his way to the top of Nollywood via acting in soap operas and television shows. A prolific actor, he has used his fame in a positive way, with his work with one.org and Face of Hope.

Will the presence of this giant of the silver screen help pick up the housemates mood after they lost this week's wager? Will it help them grow and develop as actors and as human beings? We will see on Saturday as the housemates attack their "Modern Drama" drama task with renewed vigour, having learnt from one of the best in the business.
