Elikem's Creations‎

Today Elikem breathed African prints and colour into the Hotshots house. By way of his edgy and elegant designs, housemates were looking dapper and primed to represent Africa in the Channel O Hotshots Best #TIA track task. Whether coincidence or not Elikem's designs worked to complement the task and making the housemates look quite not too shabby we must admit.

It seems the gruelling session with fitness instructor Mamo sent the old endorphins soaring as the housemates wasted no time getting freshened up and preening themselves into their African prints with a modern geometric edge. Stylistically there was a sense of minimalism in the burst of colour and diversity.

Elikem tailored each housemate their own inspired garment fit with chic lines and sophisticated silhouettes. Everybody stood out in their own special way with Goitse, Sipe and the leashed couple Nhlanhla and Sheillah just a few that were looking mighty fine. Sipe's white and orange patterned number went great with her head gear making her look like Nubian royalty. Goitse dazzled in a fitted red dress with a mixture of prints while the couple wafted an air of authority in their matching kaftans.

Luclay, fondly called "Otono", wore a jean shirt with a print running down the side over a pair of bright burnt orange shorts while Tayo to a sleek approach in a baby blue blazer with all the patterned trimmings.

Mister designer-extrodinaire himself looked a cut above the rest in a bespoke grey suit with ox-blood red tie for a touch of attitude. When asked, in his diary session, why the eventful attire he said it was reflection of his state of mind. Image was everything and when he looked good he commanded more respect and even influence.

Elikem ordained this day Africa Day and the housemates were only too glad to show his cause support and they weren't complaining about their new fly garments. There was no shame in that game. What do you think of his designs?
