No Judgement!

Finally Melvin has reacted and showed his true colours by voicing his opinion about Evictions and the pressure that comes with it. The Housemates sat in their bedroom chatting about how tough it can get when Housemates have to Nominate one another for Eviction.

Melvin made his stand point very clear saying that Housemates should not be judged by putting one another up for Eviction because in this stage of the game, there is minimal choice and even less thought about who you Nominate.

Elikem said that there’s always a reason to Nominate a fellow Housemate, whether it’s good or bad, Housemates simply need to get it done and get over it. The business of Nominations, and eventually Evictions, is a very complex one because the choice is never easy unless a certain Housemate has beef with another. So sometimes it helps to have conflict and least favourite people in the game.

“I’ve been in a situation where I’ve had to change names twice and I was threatened, so you just do it and you walk out”, he said trying to explain to both Bimp and Melvin. He said that he’s been through all the stressful instances that come with Nominations.

As much as we might be viewing the Housemates on TV, we could never know the pressure of making a decision on how long another Housemate gets to stay in the House, this is why when Housemates leave the House the first thing they always say is that the game is different in the House than it is on TV. In short, our Chasemates were asking for no judgement among themselves but mostly no judgement from Africa as a whole. We will try guys.
