Week 8 Summary

It was a full and fun week for the housemates. They saw family and friends during the freeze tasks, which cast each Hotshot in a different light and saw everyone bond whenever they comforted one another after loved ones left the house, having delivered their message.

They learnt a lot from the various other visitors in the house, who included ONE Africa ambassadors, a chef and restaurateur  and urban farmers. These guests were all integral to the Creative Food Week, which was the theme prompting the housemates’ creativity while teaching them about agriculture in Africa.

Expanding on their work with ONE Africa, they were tasked with creating a music video for their latest Extravaganza. The video's theme was "Food in Africa" and its aim was to promote agriculture, particularly to the youth. Using the song “Cocoa Na Chocolate” as a backing track the housemates got their creative juices flowing.

They were split into two teams, each headed by an acclaimed African recording artist. Fally Ipupa, from the DRC, and Diamond Platnumz, from Tanzania, entered the house to help the Hotshots with their music video. They all thoroughly enjoyed the process and learnt a lot along the way.

Friday night's Absolut Fusion Party was what many believed to be the best party in the house. Joined by Diamond and KCee they partied with the Hotshots after their performances, who carried on with the party once the artists had to leave the house.

At the beginning of the week Macky2 won Head of House and put up Ellah for eviction. There were seven others nominated with her and tonight we will get to see who goes home before heading into the final week of Big Brother Hotshots. Make sure you keep on watching!
